Explore the four foundations of mindfulness: of the body, of feeling tone, of mental formations and mindfulness of the impermanent nature of life, which will ensure a less stressed, more fulfilling life. Learn simple yoga poses that will help train your mind to savor the present, along with tools to continue your practice when life gets challenging.

You can attend one series or all three!


These six class series are designed for people who are ready to deepen their practice and will include 30 minutes of the study of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, body and breath, feeling tone, mental formations, and universal patterns, plus everything necessary to help let the mind rest and reduce anxiety.  30 minutes of movement including Yoga and Qi Gong to support the calming and settling of the mind, body and nervous system.  30 minutes of meditation techniques to deepen the training of the mind to not grasp certain thoughts, feelings and experiences.  Finally 30 minutes for discussion.  There will be a book assigned for reading between meetings so that we can bring our questions and insights into the group to create a supportive place of learning and sharing.

This class combines movements from Yoga and QiGong to help calm the mind and nervous system in order to relieve stress that accumulates in the ups and downs of daily living. The additional emphasis on mindfulness, to be present in the moment with things as they are, leads to a more heartfelt and compassionate attitude towards ourselves and others. After a practice of moving into stillness we end with a short meditation period which is the original intention of the poses.

This group gathers weekly with more of a focus on Meditation.  We begin with some very simple movement to prepare for a 30 minute meditation.  

Cost: This is offered for Dana (generosity in Pali) or you may know it as a donation for the space and teacher.
